Voting Information

“ARBOR Members, 

Our Annual General Membership meeting and election has been rescheduled for October 29th, 2025, from 9:00AM to 3:00pm, at the Arlington office. 

Members who wish to vote early may do so starting from October 15th to the 28th, during regular business hours at both ARBOR locations. 

Voting Instruction & Procedures

At the 2025 Annual General Membership Meeting of ARBOR, each eligible member shall receive a ballot.

• Voting shall be by secret ballot, and all votes must be cast in person at the Annual General Membership Meeting or beginning 10-business days prior to the election day (Oct 15).

• When seeking a ballot, each member will show a photo ID, and staff will verify their eligibility as the member signs the voter roll.

• Upon signing the voter roll, each member will receive a ballot and an envelope.

• After voting, the member will insert the ballot in the envelope and seal it.

• Members will place the sealed envelope in locked boxes. Boxes from both locations will be delivered to the Election Committee for canvassing at the conclusion of the meeting.

The President will appoint an Election Committee to collect and canvass all ballots and shall tabulate the votes. The results will be delivered to the President and CEO. 

Nominees receiving a majority of the votes shall be declared as elected and shall be promptly notified. The list of newly elected Officers and Directors will be posted at ARBOR offices and emailed to membership.

The Nominating Committee interviewed membership-nominated candidates, and the Board of Directors approved the submitted candidates, which were sent to membership on July 30th, 2025. The final day to submit signatures to challenge nominees was Sept. 1st, 2025. Petitions were received in time and additional candidates have been added to the ballot. 

The 10-days early voting begins on Oct. 15th. Both Arlington and Waxahachie offices will have a voter roll, ballots/envelopes/ballot boxes.

No Officer/Director campaigning will be allowed on property - no signs will be allowed on property or inside ARBOR. 

No absentee or proxy voting will be allowed.”
